I just went and visited my grandparents to give them their Christmas Presents. They really enjoyed that since we didn't get to see each other yesterday.
My next race is going to be Tuesday morning at Hobart. I'm really excited about running the Two Mile. I haven't really raced all out yet this indoor season. I'm unsure of the competition but I'm just going to go out and give it my all. I'm already growing sick of "tactical racing" When championship season approached I may have to do this but, for now, it will just be me against the strongest opponent of all. Myself.
This will be my last post today. I usually won't post this much but, I'm excited about finally having a BLOG!

Long Run
I just ran 16.3 miles. That was my long run of the week. It felt good to get off the treadmill thats for sure. I left my watch and music behind today so I could really just think about whatever came to mind. It was very peaceful. The roads are humbling. We are identical, really. My foot strike hardens the earth, while the earth hardens my whole body. At times I wondered why I was doing this but, like always, if I can't come up with a reason I still can't stop. By the time I was done I couldn't think of anything else I would rather do. Running truly is my calling.
About to run
I've finally created a Blog. While this is something I've wanted to do for some time now, as I approach the end of my High School running, it feels like it's about time. I'm about to head out for my Long Run and will post when I get back. Running is one of the many things I wanted to post about so I can get feedback on training and stay honest with myself about what I'm doing.
